Katelyn Wallach is a visual artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Influenced by the concept of Yin and Yang, she explores how seemingly 0contrary forces are interconnected and interdependent of each other. Focusing primarily on the duality of light and dark, she examines time, memories, and feelings, extracting the positive and negative qualities of each experience. The drawings in her Meditations series consist of many small circles that form one unified image. The cooperative nature of these works mirrors her personal philosophy that in the grand scheme of the universe, we are all one.
